The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well —Hippocrates

Our beautiful planet is full of medicine. Whether through a kambo session, a cup of ceremonial cacao, a thoughtfully crafted meal, or one of Innana’s other offerings, working with Innana is an opportunity to align with your own inner healer and the wisdom of the natural world.

New to alternative medicine? Here are some of the medicines and modalities that we work with.

Kambo is secretion from the Amazonian giant monkey frog (also known as Sapo locally to Peruvians) that consists of the cocktail of a combined peptide from the Phyllomedusa bicolor.  This medicine is well known around Peru and Brazil as the “vaccine of the forest.” It is most easily understood as a detoxifying, purgative, immune-boosting substance and a powerful treatment for chronic pain and drug dependency.

CACAO

Ceremonial cacao, derived from Theobroma cacao, is a traditional plant preparation used by Indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica in ritual and communal settings. Made from minimally processed cacao beans, it contains naturally occurring minerals such as magnesium, iron, potassium, and calcium. Cacao is a profound medicine but is subtler in its effect than Kambo, Sananga or Hapé. With many supportive attributes, Cacao is valued for its heart-opening and grounding qualities, supporting emotional warmth, reflection, and connection.

HAPE

Hapé (also spelled rapeh and pronounced ha-pay or ra-pay) is a traditional Amazonian herbal snuff used by Indigenous tribes for generations in ceremonial and healing practices. It is prepared through ritual processes that combine finely ground tobacco with other sacred plants, often accompanied by prayer and song. Hapé is traditionally used to promote grounding, mental clarity, and spiritual alignment.

SANANGA

Sananga is a traditional Amazonian eye preparation used by Indigenous tribes such as the Matsés, Huni Kuin, and Yawanawá. Made from the root bark of Tabernaemontana Sananho shrubs, it is prepared as a concentrated liquid applied as eye drops. The experience involves intense stinging and tearing followed by reported clarity and heightened visual perception. Traditionally, Sananga has been used to sharpen awareness, support and clear energetic blockages.

MERIDIAN ALIGNMENTS

Meridian alignment is inspired by the traditional meridian system used in acupuncture. Instead of using needles, this approach uses peptide therapy techniques with Kambo which work directly with the body's meridian pathways to support balanced energy flow. Combined with pattern work, this creates a deep integrative experience to explore and release recurring patterns, supporting balance in the body, mind, and emotions.

CHAKRA AND TUNING FORK REBALANCING

This treatment combines chakra alignment, tuning forks, pattern work, and peptide support to create a space for balance and energetic harmony. Through sound and vibration, we support the release of energetic blockages and bring a more balanced flow to the body's vibrational field. As patterns are gently explored and released, the tuning forks create a calming, resonant experience, allowing you to feel more grounded, relaxed, and in tune with yourself.
