INNANA’S STORY

Inanna’s offerings are rooted in the philosophy that food is medicine and nourishment is sacred.

Through personalized meal plans, catering, and culinary offerings, and alternative medicine treatments, Inanna helps elevate your everyday life.

Inanna’s passion for cooking began at the age of five in her grandmother’s kitchen, where food was an expression of love, care, and ancestral wisdom. With a lifetime of experience and over four years of professional catering for creative conferences, multi-day retreats, educational gatherings, and holiday events, she brings both skill and soul to every meal she creates.

THE INSPIRATION AND FOOD AS MEDICINE

Innana’s grandmother has been one of her greatest teachers, in more ways than one. She survived famine during World War II, grew up as an orphan within the foster system, and endured profound physical and emotional trauma, including the loss of multiple children. In the years that followed, she lived through addiction, hardship, and deep grief, yet continued on with extraordinary strength.

Now in her nineties, with a damaged liver, one working eye, and limited mobility, her grandmother remains sharp-minded, resilient, and full of memory—a living testament to endurance. From her, Inanna learned not only how to cook, but how food sustains life, carries memory, and becomes an act of survival, devotion, and care when everything else falls away.

Now, Innana’s culinary approach blends her deep relationship and mastery of Eastern European traditional dishes with global cuisine. A lover of variety and flavor, her meals are enriched with French technique, Persian depth and spice, Italian simplicity, and South American ancestral flavors. These traditions are thoughtfully brought together into a unified, health-forward cuisine—honoring cultural roots while transforming them into clean, balanced, and nourishing recipes that support modern dietary needs.

Inanna’s commitment to clean foods is also shaped by her personal lived experience. She is a survivor of exposure to high levels of radiation following the Chernobyl explosion and faced serious, unidentified and unreported immune-related illness in early childhood. Throughout her life—prior to, during, and after pregnancy—she has navigated ongoing health challenges, including thyroid imbalance, hormonal dysregulation, spinal issues, and ADHD. These experiences became a profound teacher, guiding her toward food as a healing tool and a source of empowerment.

The kitchen, for Innana, is a ceremonial space where she has healed herself and supported others in owning their health. Each ingredient is chosen with intention and becomes part of a sacred offering. Her meals are crafted with clean, high-quality ingredients and infused with intuition, love, and ancestral remembrance—honoring food as a bridge between physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Inanna also offers personal chef services and health-centered event catering, inspired by her own journey of healing through food. Her work is driven by deep respect for individual dietary needs and health goals, supporting clients in feeling vital, strong, and truly nourished. By working with Inanna, clients create more space in their lives for what deserves their full presence and intention.

Being so inspired by her own grandmother’s story, Innana is excited to nurture and support women in being their healthiest and happiest selves. A central theme of Inanna’s work is nourishment as self-care, inspired by the first nourishment we receive—mother’s milk. Her approach emphasizes meeting the body’s unique needs with gentleness and awareness, especially for women. Through moon nourishment care, she honors the body’s rhythms, cycles, and beginnings, weaving food, ritual, and intention into a holistic practice of wellness.

Inanna’s Cuisine supports full-body healing through intentionally prepared meals that align physical health with emotional and spiritual balance. This includes specialized nourishment for mothers-to-be and women prior to pregnancy, during pregnancy, and postpartum—recognizing food as a vital source of support throughout all stages of life.

Community is medicine

Community is another key motivation at the heart of Innana’s work. Inanna believes nourishment is meant to be shared, fostering connection, healing, and collective well-being. Her offerings often reflect this through community-centered meals, cooking classes, and ceremonial spaces that honor beginnings, moon cycles, and transitions.
